In reference to the fetishisation of the object of art made by Robakowski, I myself am fetishising the figure of the artist. My gesture was a direct reference to his works called Fetishes in which he holds in his arms the objects from his collection of art.
We trade places – now I hold Robakowski in my arms as a object of art. I provide him with the status of a work of art, at the same time using the status he already has for my own advantage. In one of the photographs I am wearing a string of candy pearls. These banal temporary pearls are the visual representation of what I can offer him for our cooperation.
I offer myself to be eaten in exchange for his symbolic power. I can give back something but it is only my naive girly feminism.
